Stock Controller

Keenan Recruitment has been retained by a dynamic distribution company that is currently in a phase of rapid expansion. We are actively seeking candidates for the position of Stock Controller.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Processing purchase orders
• Deliver goods on the accounting system.
• Follow up any delivery discrepancies with suppliers.
• Chase outstanding orders and any other queries with suppliers
• Liaising with transport companies regarding deliveries
• Processing all stock adjustments on accounting system 
• Complete weekly stock counts and report results to the management
• Updating stock information on the computer system
• Entry of all new product codes and details
• Ensure all operating systems are integrating and checked daily.

 

General Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
• Handle pressure, identify and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
• Make effective decisions and plan efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage 50.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced retail, distribution, or manufacturing environment.

 

The successful candidate hired for this role will play a pivotal part in managing all aspects of goods inwards and outwards, reporting directly to senior management.
